Brasenose College wishes to appoint a fixed-term 3-hour Stipendiary Lecturer from 1st October 2021 until 30th September 2022. The person appointed will coordinate with Dr Eleanor Parker to teach the literature element of the Introduction to Language and Literature paper for first-year students. They will also provide tutorials and classes on Victorian Literature (1832-1910) and Modern Literature (1910 to the present day) in co-ordination with Dr Sos Eltis. The Lecturer will also be required to participate in student admissions and to assist generally in the running of English in collaboration with the subject tutors.
The salary scale will be within the range £6,878 - £7,736 per annum, according to qualifications and experience. Note that this is not a full-time role and the salary reflects this.
